Latex Paint Allergies?

okay so i want to paint my daughters room. and my mother is allergic to latex paint, like its not serious but its still bad enough, so anyways my question is if i still paint the room with latex paint will it cause my mother harm or irritate my mothers allergies when it drys or does it only have to be wet to cause her an allergic reaction ??? i really don't want to spend more money then i need to .. but if i have to i will so let me know
