My son put his fingers in his mouth after handling raw chicken livers. Should I worry?

My son and I were fishing today using chicken livers as bait. I caught him sucking on his fingers after handling the raw chicken livers. Could he get salmonella, worms or anything else? Is there anything I should do? We washed up good when we got home but I'm worried about him getting something internal going on. Right now he seems normal. It's been about five hours or more since the incident.
