Should there be more control of the media's reporting of science?

I don't think more laws to restrict what people can say are a good idea, but I understand what you're saying and I appreciate the sentiment. I think a better choice is that people who support critical thinking can fight lies with information. Write news channels and tell them what you think, they will respond to what their viewers/customers want. Also, try producing media content of your own. With the Internet anyone can get their own message out via a podcast, blog, or video channel. Good luck.
