What are the chances of getting ill (salmonella poisoning, etc) from eating batter w/ raw egg?

Cookie dough, brownie mix, cake batter? I admit I've consumed my fair share of such things in my life, but still haven't gotten sick from it. I'm almost 40 years old! Have you or anyone you've known gotten sick from sampling sweet dough or batter?
